We are Elizabeth and Allen Mills and we live just off the Cowley Road in East Oxford near the bottom of Divinity Road at no. 11. We share the house with our very friendly bulldog, Lola. We are not a regular B&B; we simply welcome visitors into our home, providing the comfortable double guest bedroom (and adjacent single room) at the top of the house.
We collaborate with our neighbour at no. 65, Martin Stott, so if we are unable to offer you the room, we will pass your enquiry to him.
This is a non-smoking household, and smoking is not permitted anywhere indoors. We are only a mile from Oxford City centre, and frequent buses down the Cowley Road go to the City and Railway station. A Controlled Parking Zone covers our area, but our guests may park free of charge, using one of our Visitor Permits. Regular buses to and from London and Heathrow and Gatwick Airports stop at St Clements, a ten minute walk from the house.
The guest bedroom faces west, towards the City of Oxford and overlooks the stylish landscaped garden and central Mosque.
The comfortable bedroom is well appointed, with a double bed, free wifi, tea and coffee making facilities, tv and private shower room/wc. It also has an adjacent sitting room, with a sofa bed, which provides for a third member of the family to stay.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, by arrangement. We are happy to provide for them on the ground floor as we prefer dogs do not go upstairs to the guest bedroom.
